The Digital Greenhouse Custom 315 CMH grow light delivers the power and efficiency of ceramic metal halide with the flexibility of various reflector options and remote-ballast configuration. Unlike most 315 CMH units, the ballast and fixture or hood portion of this system are not directly attached, but instead connected via a PGZ18 socket set with 15′ cord. Once in place the ballast and socket fixture simply plug together with the socket set. This configuration not only allows the ballast to be placed outside of the grow tent or immediate growing area, but also permits the use of a wide range of grow light reflectors with the system.
